It was a good all around night. I started off well and then lost a little in the second game, but was able to keep adjusting and by the end of the game I had found the line again. That shot carried into the third game, so I ended the night on a strong note.

Game 1: 232 - A clean game.

Game 2: 209 - The lanes started to break down in this game. As a result I had to re-adjust through the middle of this game. I found the shot again at the end and was able to finish strong. 1 open frame.

Game 3: 236 - I had a nice shot here, and the only hole was when I missed a 10 pin. Came right back and started striking again, but the open hurt my score.

Series : 677- A good solid series, and tops for the night. Only had 2 opens. Hope I can carry the momentum into Tuesday. We'll see what happens then.

Not a great night scorewise, but it was a solid night of throwing the ball. The scores are very decieving as compared to the way I bowled. My carry was horrible. I left every pin in the back row at least twice during the night. I kept hitting pocket, but had no luck at all.

Game 1: 205 - Threw a no tap in this game. Had 1 open frame, but no doubles. Was in the pocket on every shot.

Game 2: 195 - Went clean this game, but just couldn't get a strike. I only carried three strikes in this game and only missed the pocket twice.

Game 3: 216 - Got off to a good start after an adjustment. In the 7th I left a pocket 7-10 which really killed the game, and broke up my string at the same time. Then the nines came again. I was fortunate enough to strike out in the 10th. One open in this game also.

Series: 616 -  It's not the worst series, but at the same time it could have been so much better. Only 2 opens all night and barely broke 600. It just wasn't  my night.

The thing that is so confusing to me is that in my Tuesday league is that I can't seem to carry at all, and as a result I am only averaging 192. Well below my usuall average. On the flip side, on Thursday night. I throw the same shot with the same ball, on some of the same lanes, and I carry so much better. So much so, that I am carrying a 216 average, which is more of where I was last year. I just don't understand why Tuesday is the way it is. It really has me puzzled. Hopefully I can get back to last years form as far as carry goes so I can better help the team.

I didn't post at all last week because of a family emergency. I got a call while I was bowling that my mother was rushed to the hospital. She was finally released today, after a week of uncertainty. I will start posting again this week. Take care all, life is precious.

It was a good night overall. I had a couple of glitches along the way, ( with my ball speed ), but I was happy with how I bowled.

Game 1: 212 - Had one open frame here, but I just couldn't seem to get a string going.

Game 2: 222 - Another good game, but in this game I kept slowing up on the ball speed. Clean game though.

Game 3: 234 - Another clean game. I made an adjustment, and it paid off. I threw the last 4 to take the win, as I am the anchor man.

Series: 670 - A very good night. Hope to carry the momentum into next week.

Things are starting to click again. I've made some adjustments and have started to settle into the shot they are putting down.

Tuesday

Game 1: 212 -Started off slow. Didn't get  going until the 6th frame. One open frame

Game 2: 208 - Clean game, but just wasn't carrying in this game.

Game 3: 238 - One open frame in this game, but the carry was much better

Series 658 - A solid series. I felt much better with the way I bowled.

Wednesday

I don't think I will be asked to sub again in this league any time soon.

Game 1: 227 - Missed a 4 pin in the 4th frame. Threw the last 6 to finish the game.

Game 2: 278 -  Clean game. Left a solid 10 in the 5th, and left a wobbly 10 on the last ball.

Game 3: 247 - Went clean this game.

Series : 752 - Don't think any one will be wanting to take on that entering average, so I think I've bowled my first and last night as a sub in this league. I hope I can keep it going tomorrow night.
