Thanks for the words of encouragment. Something I have been working on is remebering how hard it was not that long ago to throw a 600 series. I need to be happy when there are good times other wise all the times just seem bad.

Thanks for the comment. I posted the results from this weekend on my blog. I was pretty happy with the results.

Hi Dave. Thanks for the comment. I like the tournament league format in the summer. There is no obligation to show up each week, and if you bowl decent, you get money back the same night. I also like the tournament at the end of the league for the top 10 bowlers(10 games across 10 lanes). We bowled the tournament on the Shark pattern last year. The house I bowl at also runs a standard 10 week PBA Experience league in the Fall, and another one in the Spring.

Keep rolling those strikes ... Art

    Thanks,

I was thinking that I would have to move way to the right and throw to the head pin.

They have a set of lanes at another alley in Albuquerque with that pattern that has a coach for $150 per hour and you can have up to 10 bowlers, so at $15 each, that would be a good deal for some practice with instruction.

I'm going to see if I can get in on that.

I'm just gonna practice over the summer. I'd like to do at least one regional tournament in August, especially if the PBA comes to the Valley.

They still give it for a 299 though, right?

I remember people received them last season.

Thanks David! I thought it was sooo much fun. 27 out of a possible 36 strikes. I cannot wait to see my plaque :)

It's the character from that Cartoon Network show - in an attempt to advertise the show, "blinking devices" were created and posted around a bunch of major cities. The people in Boston thought it was a bomb and I found it very, very funny!

I wrote a blog about it if you are interested: click here.a>
