This week was good overall, but I did have to overcome some adversity. I managed to hang on and make some adjustments, even if they were not what I would usually make.
Tuesday : Games of 198, 232, 268 for a 698 series. The first game I was lost. It was not that I was throwing a bad ball, but more that I could not carry. Throughout the night, I kept making adjustments, and as the night went on, the adjustments paid off, and I was able to come out with a good night. In the third game I played a shot that I neveer played, but it was just the ticket. I threw every ball in the pocket, but left 9/ 9/ on back to back shots. You will not hear me complain.
Wednesday : Games of 189, 193, 264 for a 646 series. The night started off badly. I couldn't carry sugar cube on a rainy day. Nothing was working. I went to a lline that I have never played for the third game, and Pokeno!!! I was golden. I was gald to save a 6 for the evening. It was also the first night of our bracket ( top 64 like the college basketball ), I was seeded #3 in my bracket, and was up against the 14th seed. Well after 2 games, I was down by about 30 pins. I really had to bear down. I would have been embarrased as hell if I would have lost. Well the third game was the difference, and I came out on top. What a relief.
Thursday : Games of 247, 235, 243 for a 725 series. This night was very good, but I still made a few mental mistakes and it cost me. In the second game, I left a waving 7 and missed the spare, because I came off the side of the ball: (open frame). Then I punched out. In the third game, I was horrible at the start. It wasn't looking good, but I thought out an adjustment and went with it. After that I was locked into the lane. Just a couple of bad breaks kept me from scoring even better. I'm ready for next week.

Excellent week!
