Tonight was the first night on the Viper pattern. I practiced on this shot on Sunday and felt pretty good about going into Tuesday night. Well, low and behold I couldn't get anything going. I tried the shot that I found on Sunday, and threw 5 in a row in practice, but when the game started, I couldn't buy a strike. I don't know what was different, because the shots looked the same, but they just wouldn't carry. It wasn't until the 4th game that I changed to my most agressive ball and played the lanes deep inside out that I started to get something going.

Game 1: 171 - Where did all the strikes from practice go

Game 2: 166 - It wasn't until the 8th frame of this game that I got my first strike of the night on the right lane

Game 3: 155 - I tried, but left 4 splits

Game 4: 191 - missed 2 single pins or it would have been a 200

Well that dropped my average to 181. Hopefully I will have a better night next week. I am definately having issues with the way I have to throw the ball. Right now I am out of my comfort  zone, which is throwing off my timing. I have been moving around on the approach, but I haven't found a good starting point, and I keep trying different rev rates, but I haven't been able to match it up with an ideal ball speed. Well, until next week. I'll keep at..never give up.
